6th Grade STAR Challenge
6th Grade School Assembly: "The STAR Challenge"
What: Character Challenge staff members bring energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to your school or at a location of your choice to facilitate powerful activities for your students. The curriculum is custom-tailored to meet the needs of your students and the objectives of the administrative team. The STAR Challenge is designed to enhance students' understanding of their identity within the school, family, and community. This school retreat is facilitated most frequently in 1/2 day blocks (3-3.5 hours) increments. For smaller groups, contact us and we can help find other schools to help off-set costs.
Why: The STAR Challenge will build positive attitudes within student groups and the school climate. It will lead to a stronger sense of self esteem. These outcomes provide for less off-task behavior and a better opportunity to cope with the social, emotional, and developmental issues that arise during the 6th grade year. Our team will provide fast paced activities, music and action, break-out sessions, and large group challenges. There is also an opportunity that allows students to share their reflections and mend relationships with classmates. This school team building event sets the tone for the school year or serves as a great way to wrap up in the spring.
