Northern Minnesota prides itself on its' family-friendly, yet northwoods experience. If you are planning a trip to the Character Challenge Course, please consider attractions and lodging options that will make your trip to Park Rapids an experience like none other.  There are countless things to do when visiting.

Park Rapids Chamber of Commerce The Chamber's friendly staff will provide you with the resources to expand your knowledge of the Park Rapids Area. Located south of Park Rapids on highway 71.

Park Rapids Enterprise Park Rapids' semi-weekly newspaper is a great place to begin your stay.

Dorset Famously known as the "Restaurant capital of the world", this quaint town offers multiple shops, and no less than 5 restaurants and is located only 5 miles from Park Rapids

Area Lodging

Eagle Beach Resort Eagle Beach is located in a pristine area of Minnesota dominated by Red and White Pine trees surrounding clear, clean spring fed lakes. It is adjacent to the Character Challenge Course Company. Our resort rests on the southeast shore of Eagle Lake, the center lake of the famous Fish Hook Chain of lakes - access to the two adjoining lakes by boat, through two scenic navigable connecting short streams. There are many local attractions and activities near Park Rapids. Each summer, Park Rapids is home to countless 4th of July activities, Logging Days, and a woodcarvers festival. When you ask yourself "What is there to do in Park Rapids?" the list is long.
