Colonel Doug TrendaColonel Doug Trenda- A great addition to the C4 staff

Everyone calls me the Colonel; probably due to my 34 years of service in the United States Army.   I am very optimistic.  At any given time if you ask me how I am doing; I’ll answer Fantastic.  If you ask me for help; I’ll answer Too Easy.

When you are down and thinking you cannot; I’ll be thinking you can and then convince you of the same.

I still use the word Hooah in my vocabulary.  It means Hi, I understand, good, yes, I got it, and things are good.  You’ll probably here me singing James Brown’s  “I feel good…..” because I do feel good and will try to make you feel good, too!

From the Directors: The Colonel will bring great expertise in leadership and team dynamics to C4. We are excited to have him with us!

Tracey Matheny is a Park Rapids resident. She is SUPER excited to be working at C4 and meeting all of the different people coming to visit us! She loves to be outside, especially in the summer when it's warm and sunny, and hang out with her friends. Her major passion is her animals and her house and life is full of them!

Tony Kramer Tony Kramer- staff at C4was born and raised in Bemidji and graduated from The University of North Dakota with a degree in Psychology. Tony has a passion for working and helping people, and is going back to school to further his skills for working with the mental health world. When not working and going to school, he enjoys working on construction projects and building things. During the summer you can find Tony during the week driving around town with a boat attached to his vehicle. Tony spends many hours on the lakes around the Bemidji area fishing, skiing, tubing, and just relaxing in the sun with his fiancé and their beautiful dog Jerry. During the fall seasons, Tony’s passion for the outdoors takes him to the trails for grouse season as well as taking walks to admire the beautiful colors that fall brings. When things get stressful you will find Tony joking around and trying to make people laugh and his belief is that “laughter is the best medicine.” Tony has a very strong sense of family and building connections with people, and has made it his life to understand people and work with them to help them see the potential that they have, and be the best that they can be. Anima Sana in Corpore Sano (Healthy Soul in a Healthy Body).

Susan Paler Susan Paler- part time staff at C4 has an interest in people, helping them, encouraging them, building them up to reach their potential (sometimes helping them see their potential) and has thus pursued her MS in Counseling Psychology.  She works with youth and their families to develop relational and behavioral skills. With achiever, adaptability, connectedness and strategic as her top personality strengths she takes on new adventures with the hope of learning something new and exciting as well as gaining a positive experience.  “Why not?” is a common statement made by Susan when asked to try something new or to help someone.  With a passion for encouraging others she continuously looks to answer the question, “what is healthy, or what is best for this person?”  Susan has demonstrated tenacity in the pursuit of wholeness in physical, emotional and spiritual health.  She also understands the need for continuous development and new understandings.  Physical fitness being the most overt aspect to the pursuit of health, Susan uses fitness to find balance in many areas of life.  She takes great responsibility it avoiding hypocrisy and attempts to live by the motto: “model, mentor, teach, practice what you preach.” Susan takes it upon herself to model positive character first, then mentor others given the opportunity in those areas and finally to teach others about those areas. Susan has a love to travel and compete in various events such as the Warrior Dash and triathlons.  Susan loves to stay active in various recreation activities all year round.  For example, she snowboards, skis, roller blades, bikes, runs, and snowshoes. She is learning to paddle board and is looking forward to learning how to barefoot water ski this summer.

Zach Lohmeier grew up in Park Rapids, but he loves it. He has always been a small town Northern man and even as he ventured off into the unknown of college, he remains in the small town of Saint Peter attending Gustavus Adolphus College. He plans on majoring in Religion and continuing on into seminary after this adventure is done. This summer brings a new experience working with the great staff at C4, and he's super excited for the great experiences that he's sure he will get to have this year!

Jeremy Falk Jeremy Falk- team building staff at Minnesota's C4is an Operations and Research Consultant serving start-ups and small businesses in the Midwest through years of experience in business management and project leadership.  He keeps an active mind by always exploring new ideas/books/puzzles and learned to juggle by researching it on the Web.  He enjoys golf, UND hockey, spending time outdoors in the lakes area, and is eternally optimistic that one day the frustration of being a Vikings fan will be rewarded with a Super Bowl win.
